Gossips quite often have some substance and robust background. In crucial quarters, it was recently discussed that a senior most officer of a body enjoying post retirement job (on contract) may be relieved five-six months ahead of completion of his tenure.

Reportedly, the officer’s name has started doing rounds for the post of Chief Information Commissioner in Central Information Commission; a post which fell vacant recently. What makes the buzz believable it the fact that performance of the body under his new ‘Avtaar’ appears to have failed to sustain the growth story.
