New Delhi (07.08.2024): The New Delhi establishment on Tuesday effected a major bureaucratic reshuffle at Joint Secretary level i.e. at Level 14 of the Pay Matrix. The list of newly appointed Joint Secretaries goes as follows:
- Nila Mohanan (IAS: 2007: UT) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat for an overall tenure of five years upto 04.10.2025 which is further extendable for additional two years on availability of cadre clearance. She replaces Ashutosh Jindal (IAS: 1995: TR). Currently, she is Joint Secretary, DOPT.
- Samir Ashwin Vakil (IRS IT: 1998) was appointed as Director, Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for a tenure of five years. He replaces Keshav Chandra (IAS: 1995: UT).
- Aishvarya Singh (IAS: 2008: SK) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce for an overall tenure upto 05.02.2025 vice Vipul Bansal (IAS: 2005: KN). Currently, she is Joint Secretary, PMO.
- Muktanand Agrawal (IAS: 2008: RJ) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare for an overall tenure of five years upto 06.11.2027. He replaces Ashish Kumar Srivastava (IFoS: 1997: TN)
- Purna Chandra Kishan (IAS: 2005: RJ) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare for a tenure of five years vice Shri Pankaj Yadav (IAS: 2001: HY).
- Anurag Srivastava (IRS IT: 1993) was appointed as Joint Secretary & FA, Department of Atomic Energy, Mumbai for a tenure of five years by temporarily downgrading the vacant post of AS & FA. He replaces Rajeev Kumar Mital (IAS: 1998: MH).
- Ekta Vishnoi (IRS IT: 1999) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Bio-Technology for a combined tenure of seven years up to 05.11.2026. She replaces Chaitanya Murti (IFoS: 1995: TR).
- Siddharth Jain (IAS: 2001: AP) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation for a tenure of five years vice Alok Agarwal (CSS).
- Kaul Sanjay Moolchand (IAS: 2001: KL) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture for a tenure of five years vice Sanjukta Mudgal (IFoS: 1990: MP).
- Pawan Kumar Sharma (IAS: 1999: MP) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence for a tenure of five years by temporarily downgrading the vacant post of Additional Secretary in the Department. He replaces Nivedita Shukla Verma (IAS: 1991: UP).
- Amit Satija (IAS: 2008: UT) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence Production for an overall tenure of five years upto 16.04.2028 Vice Surendra Prasad Yadav (IFoS: 1996: WB).
- Alok Tiwari (IAS: 2007: UP) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs for an overall tenure of five years upto 26.09.2026 vice K Manicka Raj (IAS: 2005: TG).
- Sanjay Kumar (IAS: 2008: UT) was appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India for an overall tenure of five years upto 26.01.2027 vice R K Gupta (CSS).
- Ajeet Kumar (IAS: 2002: MP) was appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India for a tenure of five years vice Ajay Bhadoo (IAS: 1999: GJ).
- Nand Kumarum, (IAS: 2008: MP) was appointed as CEO, National eGovernance Division (NeGD) under the Ministry of Electronics & IT for an overall tenure of five years upto 17.07.2027 vice Abhishek Singh (IAS: 1995: NL).
- Anirudh Kumar (IRSME: 1995) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Warehousing Development & Regulatory Authority (WDRA) under the Department of Food & Public Distribution for a tenure of five years vice Dheeraj Sahu (IAS: 1996: UP).
- Latha Ganapathy (IAS: 2007: TN) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare for an overall tenure of five years upto 02.10.2027 vice Vipul Aggarwal (IPS: 2001: GJ).
- Nikhil Gajraj (IAS: 2008: HY) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare for an overall tenure of five years upto 27.08.2024 which is further extendable for additional two years on availability of cadre clearance vice Aradhana Patnaik (IAS: 1998: JH).
- V. Kiran Gopal (IAS: 2008: MP) was appointed as Joint Secretary, National Health Authority (NHA) under the Department of Health & Family Welfare for an overall tenure of five years upto 11.11.2026.
- Sudhanshu Panwar (IRSME: 1997) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries for a tenure of five years vice Mukta Shekhar (IRAS: 1994).
- Niraj Kumar Bansod (IAS: 2008: CG) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs for an overall tenure of five years upto 29.08.2027 vice Shri Prakash (CSS).
- Sunil Kumar (IRAS: 1995) was appointed as Additional Registrar General, O/o Registrar General and Census Commissioner under MHA for a combined tenure of seven years up to 07.05.2026 vice Shri Sanjay (ISS: 1992).
- P Bala Kiran (IAS: 2008: KL) was appointed as Director (Census Operations) (JS level), Andhra Pradesh, O/o Registrar General and Census Commissioner, India under MHA for an overall tenure upto 31.12.2025 by temporarily upgrading the post held by the officer from Director level to Joint Secretary level.
- Pooja Pandey (IAS: 2008: AM) was appointed as Director (Census Operations) (JS level), Arunachal Pradesh & Meghalaya, O/o Registrar General and Census Commissioner, India under MHA for an overall tenure upto 31.12.2025 by temporarily upgrading the post held by the officer from Director level to Joint Secretary level.
- Sheetal Verma (IAS: 2007: UP) was appointed as Director (Census Operations) (JS level), Uttar Pradesh, O/o Registrar General and Census Commissioner, India under MHA for an overall tenure upto 31.12.2025 by temporarily upgrading the post held by the officer from Director level to Joint Secretary level.
- Vatsalya Saxena (IRS IT: 1994) was appointed as CEO, Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) under the Ministry of MSME for a tenure upto superannuation on 30.04.2028 vice Vinit Kumar (IRSEE: 1994)
- Kumar Ravi Kant Singh (IAS: 2008: UP) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Military Affairs for a combined tenure of seven years upto 01.06.2025 vice Shantanu (IAS: 1997: TR).
- Ram Singh (IAS: 2008: AM) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs for an overall tenure of five years upto 24.05.2027 vice Jitendra Singh Raje (IAS: 2007: SK).
- Dhrijesh Kumar Tiwari (ISS: 1998) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO) under the NITI Aayog for a tenure of five years vice Shailendra Kumar Dwivedi (IPoS: 1997).
- J Ashok Kumar (IAS: 2008: UT) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) for an overall tenure of five years upto 03.03.2027 vice Rajul Bhatt (IPoS: 2000).
- Chhavi Bhardwaj (IAS: 2008: MP) was appointed as Joint Secretary, DOPT for an overall tenure of five years upto 17.07.2027 Nila Mohanan (IAS: 2007: UT).
- Shyama Prasad Roy (CSS) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Capacity Building Commission (CBC) under DOPT for a tenure of five years by temporarily upgrading a post of Director in the Commission to Joint Secretary level, initially for two years.
- V Lalithalakshmi (IAS: 2008: WB) was appointed as Secretary, Capacity Building Commission (CBC), with additional charge of the post of CEO, Karmayogi Bharat under DOPT for an overall tenure of five years upto 28.02.2027.
- Shiv Kumar (IAS: 2008: UT) was appointed as Additional Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) under DOPT for an overall tenure of five years upto 02.12.2026 Praveen Kumari Singh (IRPS: 1993).
- Vinod Seshan (IAS: 2008: AM) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Petroleum & Natural Gas for an overall tenure of five years upto 08.03.2027 vice Sunil Kumar (IRAS: 1995).
- Naval Kishore Ram (IAS: 2008: MH) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Revenue for an overall tenure of five years upto 10.08.2025 which is further extendable for additional two years on availability of cadre clearance vice Ritvik Ranjanam Pandey (IAS: 1998: KN).
- Rohini R Bhajibhakare (IAS: 2008: TN) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Rural Development for an overall tenure of five years upto 27.11.2024 which is further extendable for additional two years on availability of cadre clearance. She replaces Amit Kataria (IAS: 2004: CG).
- Dipti Aditya Kanade (IAS: 2008: KN) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Space, Bengaluru for an overall tenure of five years upto 24.04.2027 vice G Jayanti (CSS).
