New Delhi (06.08.2024): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Tuesday are as follows:-

• Bakki Karthikeyan (IAS: 2012: MP) has been appointed as Private Secretary to Minister for Coal & Mines G Kishan Reddy at the level of Deputy Secretary for the period of five years.
• Swapnil Patil (IRST:2011) has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Rural Development Kamlesh Paswan at the level of Deputy Secretary for the period up to 09.08.2027.
• Tenure of Amit Kumar Ghosh (IAS: 1994: UP), Additional Secretary, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, has been extended for a period of one year i.e. up to 10.08.2025.
• Deshpande Mandar Kishor (IP&TA&FS: 2014) has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty to the Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Railways and Electronics & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting at the level of Deputy Secretary for a period of four years.

• Nikhil Kumar Kanodia (IPS: 2003: OD) was appointed as CVO, Airports Authority of India (AAI), Delhi for a period up to 23.07.2026 i.e. combined deputation tenure of 7 years.

• Bindu Tewari (IRSME: 1993) was appointed as CVO, India Post Payments Bank (PP8), Delhi for a period of 3 years.
• Harsimran Singh (IRSE (Civil): 2001) was appointed as CVO, Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL), Kolkata for a period of 3 years.

• Anurag Bajpai (IFoS: 1994: MN), Additional Secretary, Department of Defence Production, has been repatriated to his parent cadre to avail the benefit of promotion.

• Raj Kumar Chaudhary, Director (Technical), NHPC Ltd, has been appointed to the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), NHPC Ltd till the date of his superannuation i.e. 30.06.2025.
• Nandakumar Velayudhan Pillai, Group General Manager (GGM), Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), has been appointed to the post of Director (Refineries), MRPL for a period of five years.
• Prof. Balaji Ramakrishnan, Professor, Dept. of Civil Engineering, IIT Bombay, has been appointed to the post of Director, National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai.
