Five IPS officers were among seven
senior officers who were given new responsibilities in J&K on Tuesday. Mukesh Singh, IPS (JK:1996), upon
his repatriation from Central Deputation, has been posted as IGP, Crime,
J&K, vice Syed Ahfadul Mujtaba, IPS (JK:1998), who has been posted as MD,
J&K, Police Housing Corporation. Shaleen Kabra, Principal Secretary,
Home Department, and Sulaiman Salaria, IPS (JK:1994), Director, SKPA, Udhampur,
Dr S D Singh, IPS (JK:1995) IGP, (CIV), PHQ, Shailender Singh, JKPS (1999),
AIG (Buildings), PHQ, have been
reposted. Rayees Mohammad Bhat, IPS, AIG
(Tech), shall hold the charge of the post of AIG (Buildings), PHQ, in addition
to his duties, till further orders.
Further, Naseer Ahmad, Senior
Superintendent of Police, Telecom (I/c Director Police Telecom) has been
promoted as Director Police Telecommunication.
