The grapevine has it that the Spl Secretary MSME, Amrendra Kumar Sinha (IAS:1981:UD) may be appointed as Secretary, Department of Land Resources (DoLR). The incumbent Secretary, (DoLR) Ms Vandana Kumari Jena (IAS:1979:OR) is scheduled for superannuation on July 30.
The incumbent Special Secretary, MSME, A K Sinha is one among three IAS officers from 1981 batch who are yet to be posted in the rank of Secretary including Rajeev Yadav (IAS:1981:AM) and V S Madan (IAS:1981:AM).
One can wait and watch only.
