Dehradun (22.07.2023): Uttarakhand Chief Secretary SS Sandhu (IAS: 1988: UK) has been given a six-month extension from August 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024. Sandhu was scheduled to retire on July 31, 2023. Sources said that it was due to the ongoing works at Kedarnath and Badrinath, as well as a number of other key projects funded by the Centre which are underway that Sandhu's service was extended. Pushkar Singh Dhami in his first term named Sandhu as the CS.
