TN: Nine IAS officers given new assignments

Sanctions have been accorded for creation of temporary post of additional chief secretaries to the Tamil Nadu government, municipal administration and water supply department, additional chief secretary to government, labour and employment department and additional chief secretary to government, co-operation, food and consumer protection department, under rule 4(2) of the I.A.S (Cadre) Rules, 7954 for a period of one year with effect from the date of issue of this order or till the need for them cease whichever is earlier.

The following officers of 1989 Batch of IAS of Tamil Nadu cadre have been promoted to Chief Secretary Grade of IAS in the post mentioned against each:

S Krishnan has been promoted to additional chief secretary in the TN government; K Rajaraman as additional secretary, government of India, ministry of finance, department of economic affairs; S K Prabhakar, additional chief secretary to the TN government, home, prohibition and excise department; Dr Sandeep Saxena, senior deputy election commissioner, Election Commission of India; Harminder Singh, additional chief secretary in the TN government, municipal administration and water supply; Md Nasimuddin, additional chief secretary TN government, labour and employment department; Shiv Das Meena, additional secretary, government of India, ministry of housing and urban affairs, department of urban development; Dayanand Katariya, additional chief secretary TN government, cooperation, food and consumer protection department; Anita Praveen, additional secretary and financial adviser, ministry of communication, government of India, department of posts.
