Chennai (31.01.2023): The Tamil Nadu government enacted a major reshuffle of IAS officers and created new posts on a temporary basis for a period of one year.
The government created a temporary post of Additional Chief Secretary/ Project Director, Tamil Nadu Irrigated Agriculture Modernisation Project in the Chief Secretary grade for one year with effect from the date of appointment or till the need for it ceases, whichever is earlier.
The government also created a temporary post of Principal Secretary / Commissioner of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (Training) in the higher administrative grade of IAS for one year. Similar temporary posts were sanctioned in the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare department, Information Technology and Digital Services, officer on special duty in the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR & CE) department, special secretary in School Education department, Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce department, planning and development department in super time scale of IAS for one year. A temporary post of Controller of Examinations, Teachers Recruitment Board, Commissioner of HR & CE, Director of Technical Education, and Project Director, TN Road Sector project in State scale of IAS were also created.
  1. Pooja Kulkarni (IAS: 2003: TN) has been transferred and posted as the Special Secretary to the Industries Department.
  2. S Jayandhi (IAS: 2006: TN) has been posted as Special Secretary, School Education Department in the newly-created post.
  3. Neeraj Mittal (IAS: 1992: TN) has been transferred and posted as Chairman and MD of TUFIDCO.
  4. T S Rajasekar (IAS: 2006: TN) has been posted as Special Secretary of Planning and Development Department.
  5. S Sivarasu (IAS: 2011: TN) has been posted as Joint Commissioner of Revenue Administration.
  6. Har Sahay Meena (IAS: 1992: TN) has been appointed as Principal Secretary of Commissioner of Rural Development Department. Commissioner of HR and CE Department
  7. J Kumaragurubaran (IAS: 2006: TN) has been appointed as Secretary of the state Information Technology Department with full additional charge of Officer on Special Duty for the HR and CE department.
  8. D Mohan (IAS: 2012: TN) has been transferred to the office of Director of Information and Public Relations.
  9. V Vishnu (IAS: 2012: TN) has been posted as Managing Director and CEO of TN Industrial Guidance and Export Promotion Bureau.
  10. V Jaya Chandra Bhanu (IAS: 2012: TN) has been appointed as TIDCO Executive Director.
  11. M Aravind has been posted as MD of TNMSC.
  12. G S Sameeran (IAS: 2012: TN) has been posted as Joint Commissioner (Works) of Greater Chennai Corporation.
  13. R Alagumeena has been posted as Commissioner of Tambmaram Corporation.
  14. D Sneha (IAS: 2017: TN) has been appointed as Commissioners of Hosur.
  15. C Dinesh Kumar (IAS: 2017: TN) has been appointed as Commissioners of Thoothukudi.
  16. P Rathinasamy has been posted as Commissioner of Vellore Corporation.
  17. K P Karthikeyan (IAS: 2015: TN) has been appointed member secretary of State Minorities Commission.
  18. D Ravichandran has been appointed as Collector of Tirunelveli district.
  19. Dr V P Jayaseelan (IAS: 2014: TN) has been appointed as Collector of Tenkasi district.
  20. Deepak Jacob (IAS: 2014: TN) has been appointed as Collector of Virudhunagar district.
  21. C Palani has been appointed as Collector of Villupuram district.
  22. PN Sridhar (IAS: 2014: TN) has been appointed as Collector of Kanyakumari district.
  23. K Karpagam (IAS: 2014: TN) has been appointed as Collector Perambalur district.
  24. R V Shajeevana has been appointed as Collector Chengalpattu district.
  25. Kranthi Kumar (IAS: 2014: TN) Pati has been appointed as Collector Coimbatore district.
  26. T Charusree (IAS: 2015: TN) has been appointed as Collector of Tiruvarur district.
  27. A P Mahabharathi (IAS: 2013: TN) has been appointed as Collector Mayiladuthurai district.
  28. P Akash (IAS: 2014: TN) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Labour Department.
  29. J Meghanatha Reddy (IAS: 2013: TN) has been posted as Member Secretary of Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu with full additional charge of the post of Joint Secretary of Special Programme Implementation Department.
  30. Sri Venkata Priya (IAS: 2011: TN) has been transferred and posted as Controller of Examinations, Teacher Recruitment Board.
  31. KV Muralidharan (IAS: 2012: TN) has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of HR and CE Department.
  32. B Gayatri Krishnan (IAS: 2013: TN) was posted as Joint Commissioner (State taxes), Commercial Taxes Department.
  33. R Lalitha (IAS: 2010: TN) has been appointed as Director of Technical Education.
  34. V P Jeyaseelan (IAS: 2014: TN) has been posted as Collector Virudhunagar District.
