New Delhi (07.05.2025): As Indianmandarins had reported earlier the New Delhi establishment, based on the recommendations of the Committee, extended the tenure of Praveen Sood (IPS: 1986: KN) as Director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a period of one year beyond 24.05.2025. He has been serving as CBI chief since 25 May 2023 replacing Subodh Kumar Jaiswal (Retd IPS: 1984: MH). Sood was scheduled to complete his two-year term on 24 May 2025 and having his tenure extended he will continue to lead CBI upto 24 May 2026. ALSO READ:

New Delhi (07.05.2025): As Indianmandarins had reported earlier the New Delhi establishment, based on the recommendations of the Committee, extended the tenure of Praveen Sood (IPS: 1986: KN) as Director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a period of one year beyond 24.05.2025.
