Yet another surprising move by Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he visited ailing former Union minister Arun Shourie in Pune. One of the worst critiques of Modi in the recent times was overwhelmed on PM’s gesture who has even gone to the extent of filing a case in the Supreme Court alleging PMO involved in corruption in the Rafale jet deal.

Was it a simple courtesy call or the Modi government wants to break ice with a former BJP leader who silenced BJP critiques on many occasions in the past? He was full time disinvestment minister in the Vajpayee government and Modi government facing hic ups in this regards. What could be the possible takeaways?
