New Delhi (01.06.2025): Following the superannuation of Raj Kumar Chaudhary as CMD on June 30, 2025 the Union Government assigned the additional charge of CMD post to Rajendra Prasad Goyal. Currently, R P Goyal is working as Director (Finance) NHPC and scheduled to superannuate on August 31 this year. Goyal, prior to this also, worked as interim CMD of NHPC since 01 March 2024 until R K Chaudhary took over as regular CMD.It may be underlined that Bhupender Gupta, Director (Tech) THDC and interim CMD of SJVN, has already been selected as NHPC’s next CMD and awaits ACC’s ratification for appointment.
