New Delhi (02.07.2021): Sunil, Additional Director General (Global Outreach), Prasar Bharati, has been elected as President of Broadcast Engineering Society (BES) unopposed for the term of 2021-23. BES, India, headquartered in New Delhi with 12 Local Chapters, promotes the advancement and dissemination of knowledge and practices of broadcasting in the field of Radio, TV and other media platforms. BES Expo (I&B approved), an annual international conference and exhibition highlighting the current broadcast situation, is supported by Prasar Bharati, ABU, UNESCO, Society of Broadcast Engineers, USA, Ministry of Communications & IT and IGNOU. The Society brings out a quarterly technical journal known as BES Review.
