1936New Delhi (02.07.2021): Sunil, Additional Director General (Global Outreach), Prasar Bharati, has been elected as President of Broadcast Engineering Society (BES) unopposed for the term of 2021-23. BES, India has its headquartered in New Delhi with 12 Local Chapters, promotes the advancement and dissemination of knowledge and practices of broadcasting in the field of Radio, TV and other media platforms. BES Expo (I&B approved), an international conference and exhibition is organized annually highlighting the current broadcast situation. The Expo is supported by Prasar Bharati, ABU, UNESCO, Society of Broadcast Engineers, USA, Ministry of Communications & IT. The Society brings out a quarterly technical journal known as BES Review.
