Nripendra Mishra, former Principal Secretary to PM Narendra Modi, has been nominated by the Centre who will head the Ram Mandir construction committee. In fact, this decision finally endorsed that Senior Mishra still remains PM’s most favourite bureaucrat in the country. After his tenure ended at PMO power corridors had its own prism to look at the development though his appointment as the head of the executive council of the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (NMML) in January was perceived differently. 

Few senior bureaucrats while interacting with Indianmandarins indicated that sooner the development may be interpreted as PM Modi’s honour and trust bestowed on Nripendra Mishra. A senior IAS officer told Indianmandarins it underlines that Senior Mishra still maintains his stature beyond official and administrative framework.

Further, Additional Secretary in Union Home Ministry Gyanesh Kumar (IAS:1988:KL)Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary (Home) Awanish Kumar Awasthi (IAS:1987:UP) and Ayodhya DM Anuj Jha (IAS) also attended the meeting held on Wednesday at Ayodhya. 

Shree Ramjanmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra was formed last month by the Central Govt after the Apex Court’s directive regarding it on November 09 last year to look after the construction of Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya. The 15-members trust has religious as well as civilians members as part of it apart from bureaucrats.

Trust has the mandate to decide the "muhurat" for beginning construction, its timeline, transparent mode for collection of funds and further course of action. As per sources, the trust is expected to broadly finalise the timeline for the construction schedule of the.
