Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that Sanjay Kumar Srivastava (IAS:1980:UT) may take over as new Election Commissioner of Delhi on November 28 -five months ahead of his retirement. In his new capacity, he will report to Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najib Jung. Currently, Srivastava serves as Secretary (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat. He would have a four and a half year long tenure (up to 65 years) as Delhi EC.
