New Delhi (26.10.2022): Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia has issued a show-cause notice to Alice Vaz R (IAS:2005:AGMUT), Secretary, Directorate of Training and Technical Education. The Dy CM also sought her explanation for allegedly trying to ‘discontinue’ the 'Dilli Ki Yogshala' scheme, which is AAP government's flagship yoga programme to provide free yoga classes to thousands of people.Sisodia issued the notice to the bureaucrat after he was informed that in a meeting of the Board of Governors of Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) held last month, it was decided to discontinue the yoga programme on the ‘insistence’ of the IAS officer.
