If some well placed sources are to be believed the services of Shailendra Singh (IAS:1988:MP), presently Additional Secretary in the Department of Promotion of Internal Trade (DPIT), has been asked to report to Department of Health Research. Reportedly, the Govt wanted some senior IAS Officer to coordinate the health and research related exigencies in view of CONID-19 pandemic. It is also learnt that Ms Sumita Dawra (IAS:1991:AP) has been asked to coordinate the assignments being handled by Shailendra Singh in DPIT.
