With Union Home minister and BJP president Amit Shah asking
officials of Jammu and Kashmir government to go back to work, it seems to be an
indication for a crackdown on them once J&K and Ladakh administration takes
a new shape after October 31. Shah was meeting with the BJP leaders of the state to take
stock of the situation and he told them that they must try every bit to prevail
normalcy in the state. They must also reach out to every stakeholder in the
state including NGOs and religious leaders. But in case the government officials who are small in number
do not come to work giving any excuse, the government is likely to take
appropriate action with central officials taking over the J&K and Ladakh
administration.
