These officers are: T Udhayachandran (Finance), Sandhya Venugopal (TIDCO), Dr P Senthilkumar (Health and Family Welfare), R Jaya (Economics and Statistics) and M A Siddique (Chennai Metro Rail Limited). Besides, six more officers, belonging to 2002 batch, have been promoted to the Principal Secretary grade which included: Archana Patnaik (Chief Electoral Officer), Sigy Thomas Vaidhyan (Disaster Management), C Samayamoorthy (Secretary-II to the Chief Minister), Reeta Harish Thakkar (Public and Rehabilitation) and Jayashree Muralidharan (Social Welfare and Women Empowerment). 

The government also promoted 12 IAS officers of 2010 cadre to super time scale of IAS. They are R Lalitha, Praveen P Nair, Shankar Lal Kumawat, Subodh Kumar, Ajay Yadav, Rashmi Siddharth Zagade, R Kannan, S Natarajan, A Sivagnanam, L Nirmalraj, S A Raman and A Annadurai. All these promotions will come into effect from Jan 1, 2026.
