Seven IES officers upgraded at Joint Secretary level (NFU)

New Delhi (04.06.2025): Over half a dozen Indian Economic Service (IES) officers belonging to the 2007 Batch have been granted the non-functional Upgradation to Senior Administrative Grade i.e. Joint Secretary-level with effect from 01.04.2025. The names of these officers given JS-level scale are as follows:
  1. Chandrani Gupta, Chief Vigilance Officer, Braithwaite, Burn & Jessop Construction Company, Department of Heavy Industries.
  2. Bhumika Verma, Director, Department of Expenditure.
  3. Swayamprava Pani, Additional Development Commissioner, office of Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles.
  4. Prasanth C, Director, BIMSTEC Secretariat.
  5. Mukesh Kumar, Director, President's Secretariat.
  6. Urmila, Deputy Secretary, NITI Aayog.
  7. Praveen Kumar, Director, Department of Commerce.
