The same path was travelled by Additional Director General of Police (ADG) of Bihar Kundan Krishnan when his recent statement linking increased murder cases in the state to farmers having less work during the summer months racking controversy. In this case, it is maintaining law and order by Bihar police. For him surge in crime happens in April, May, and June because farmers are idle during this period, but once rains arrive, they get busy with agricultural activities. So, first farmers are criminals and second there is a crime season like travel season for Bihar ADG. There were spurt in murder cases in the past 15 days and election coming closure by the day might hit the NDA hard in the state.
