Union Commerce Secretary Rajiv Kher (IAS:1980:UP) and Secretary MSME Madhav Lal  (IAS:1978:JK) are scheduled to superannuate on June 30. Appointments of their successors have already taken place on June June 02. Rita A Teotia (IAS:1981:GJ) will take over from Rajiv Kher as new Commerce Secretary and will have a tenure as Commerce Secretary till July 31, 2018. Presently she has is serving as Special Secretary, Dept of Telecom (since 03 November 2014). The incumbent Mines Secretary Anup K Pujari (IAS:1981:KN) will take overfrom Madhav Lal as Secretary, MSME. Pujari (appointed as MSME Secretary on lateral basis) will have tenure till February 2016.
