Ms S Aparna (IAS:1988:GJ) appointed to the post of Executive Director, World Bank vice Subhash Garg (IAS:1983:RJ). In World Bank Ms Aparna will represent the Constituency of India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The post recently fell vacant following the completion of tenure of Garg as ED, WB who further took over as Secretary, Dept of Economic Affairs.
Ms Aparna previously served as Principal Secretary to the then Gujarat CM Anandiben Patel.
