New Delhi (31.12.2023): As Indianmandarins had reported (CLICK TO READ) the Centre on Saturday extended the service of UP Chief Secretary Durga Shanker Mishra (IAS: 1984: UP) for third time in a row. His service term and term and CS was scheduled to end on 31.12.2023. The notification issued by the State GAD categorically underlines that Mishra's term was extended in relaxation of Rule 16(1) of AIS (DCRB) Rules, 1958 by invoking Rule 3 of AIS (CS- RM) Rules, 1960.Mishra, considered also as the Centre’s envoy to the state, will keep running the civil administration for another six months ending 30.06.2024.ALSO READ:
