Railways: DPC meeting for empanelment (IRMS) begins, NITI CEO joins as Member

New Delhi (15.09.2022): If some well-placed sources are to be believed the much-awaited Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting for the empanelment for Level-16 posts (GM Railways) under the Indian Railways Management Service (IRMS) took place today at Ministry of Railways. The Committee represents itself through Chairman & CEO Railway Board V K Tripathi, DOPT Secretary Mrs S Radha Chauhan (IAS:1988:UP) and NITI Aayog CEO Parameswaran Iyer.NITI CEO as part of DPC was noted well in power corridors. In addition to the posts of GM Zonal Railways, the DPC is also considering the posts of GM Open Line and GM of Production Units under MoR.It may be underlined that presently, 16 posts, out of 24, are lying vacant.ALSO READ:(07.09.2022)
