New Delhi (10.12.2024): Congress MPs were little disappointed with the news of Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi not attending the Rajya Sabha proceedings on Monday that happens to be her birthday. Eager to meet Sonia Gandhi to extend her birthday greetings, they turned to Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi who ensured that every MP to speak to her over mobile phone. Rahul Gandhi called his mother and put the phone on speaker so that MPs were able to wish her. They sang the birthday song for the top leader.
