There has been a fresh buzz that Ramesh Abhishek (IAS:1982:BH), Chairman, FMC, emerges as front-runner for the post of Secretary, Ministry of Steel. 'Indianmandarins' had carried in its report dated September 25 that Ms Aruna Sunderrajan's (IAS:1982:KL) and Rajiv Gauba (IAS:1982:JH) were in serious considered for the coveted post.
The incumbent Steel Secretary, Rakesh Singh (IAS:1978:PB), is all set to superannuate on 30 September. The curious spectators would keep guessing as who would get the opportunity to serve as Steel Secretary; Ms Sunderarajan, Rajiv Gauba or Ramesh Abhishek.
