Punjab government's additional chief secretary (development) Viswajeet Khanna has been made to head a committee of senior officers to engage with different groups of farmers and sort out the pending agrarian issues.

Directing the committee to submit its report at the earliest for processing, a communique from the chief secretary's office said Additional chief secretary (revenue) M P Singh or his representative and principal secretary of finance department Anirudh Tewari would be the members of the committee.
