Punjab: Government enacts reshuffle of IPS officers

Chandigarh (13.07.2022): The Punjab government has shifted over a dozen Indian Police Services (IPS) officers with immediate effect. Some of them are:
  1. Vibhu Raj (IPS: 1996: PB) has been posted as additional director general of police (Investigation, Lokpal).
  2. L K Yadav (IPS: 1996: PB) has been appointed as ADGP crime and Bureau of Investigation.
  3. Arun Pal Singh (IPS: 1997: PB) has been posted as inspector general (internal vigilance).
  4. Rakesh Agrawal (IPS: 1999: PB) has been given the charge of IG (counter-intelligence).
  5. Jaskaran Singh (IPS: 1997: PB) has been posted as IG (Ferozepur Range).
  6. Pradeep Kumar (IPS: 2002: PB) has been appointed as IG (technical education).
  7. Inderbir Singh (IPS: 2007: PB) has been posted as deputy inspector general-cum-joint director, Punjab Police Academy, Phillaur.
  8. Babu Lal Meena (IPS: 2004: PB) has been given the charge of DIG (Intelligence).
  9. S Boopathi (IPS: 2007: PB) has been posted as DIG (provisioning), in addition to the current charge of DIG (Jalandhar range).
  10. Patil Ketan Baliram (IPS: 2010: PB) has been given the post of assistant inspector general (training).
  11. Nanak Singh (IPS: 2011: PB) has been posted as AIG (personnel).
  12. Ajay Maluja (IPS: 2015: PB) has been appointed as AIG (Special Task Force), Bathinda.
