Senior Jharkhand cadre IPS officer Praveen Kumar, who had served as a DIG of Ranchi Zone and SSP, Ranchi, breathed his last at Delhi's Max Hospital on Sunday. Kumar, a 1998 batch IPS officer, was battling serious illness for several months.
Survived by his wife and two sons, he was currently on Central deputation.
CM Raghubar Das along with prominent personalities of the State expressed grief on the IPS officer's demise and wished his family could get enough courage to bear the pain.
