The Jharkhand government and Police on Monday paid their last respects to IPS officer Praveen Singh who died in Delhi on Sunday of his ailments. At a function held at the JAP grounds in Ranchi, state urban development minister C P Singh, chief secretary Sudhir Tripathi, home secretary SKG Rahate, DGP DK Pandey other senior officials paid their floral tributes after which the body of the late officer was brought to his home located at HEC. At his home, prominent people from various walks of life including former union minister Subodhkant Sahai offered their tributes to the late officer. The body of the late officer was later moved to 'Muktidham' located at Harmu where his mortal remains were consigned to flames.
