The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Reddy on Wednesday revised the distribution of subjects among the top three officers in his Office (CMO). While having a glance at the allocation Praveen Prakash emerges as the most powerful bureaucrat in the state.

Principal Secretary to CM Praveen Prakash (IAS:1994:AP) has been allocated with all key subjects except Industry, Mines etc. Prakash (popularly known among peers as PP) will look after the subjects namely; General Administration Department, Home, Revenue, Finance & Planning (except the subject of Expenditure), Law & Legislative Affairs, CMO’s  Establishment & Residual Subjects, Exclusive node in CMO to deal with the entire spectrum of Centre-State relations. Prakash’s work also includes all issues arising out of State Re-organization Act; CMO’s correspondence with Centre including PMO; projects, programs, financial/non-financial issues of State Government with Senior Government of India officials in the rank of Secretary, Additional Secretary and Joint Secretary; MIS of CMO.

Secretary to the Chief Minister Solomon Arokia Raj (IAS:2000:AP),  will look after the subjects namely; Transport, Roads & Buildings, APSRTC, Housing, Food & Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, SERP, Education (School, Inter, Higher & Technical), All Welfare Departments, Industries & Commerce, Infrastructure & Investment, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Mines & Geology, Labour & Employment and Skill Development

Additional Secretary to Chief Minister K Dhananjaya Reddy (IAS:2006:AP) has been allocated subjects namely; Water Resources, Environment, Forests, Science & Technology, Municipal Administration, Urban Development & CRDA, Agriculture & allied subjects, Health, Medical & Family Welfare Dept, Energy, Tourism, Culture, Youth Advancement & Sports, Marketing & Cooperation, Finance (Subject related to Expenditure).
