New Delhi (27.11.2024): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet chief secretaries of various states next month just ahead of the annual conclave with chief ministers to finalise the near-term policy agenda. This meeting has been convened by Niti Ayog. This three-day meeting starting from December 13, 2024 will underline key issues for the Prime Minister to take up with chief ministers at the next governing council meeting of Niti Ayog. The Union government is keen that states must bring reforms to help them attract more investments which would spur development. The Niti Ayog is working on an investment index of states showing which policies or measures are helping attract investments and which are hindering them.
