New Delhi (27.08.2025): Amid tariff talks with the US and imposition of the second highest tariff on any country after Brazil which is applicable from today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi refused to take calls of US President Donald Trump. A German and a Japanese newspaper reported saying that the anger of Modi is such that he did not talk to him and also, he wants to give him a message that he doesn’t care for the high tariff. Meanwhile, the opposition in the country is baying for the head of the PM not only on this but also for getting elections with the connivance of the Election Commission of India.
