NCR region has started emerging as top class IT hub at par with Hyderabad and
Bangaluru. Country’s top IT company, Infosys said on Sunday
that it will invest approximately Rs 7.5 billion in its upcoming facility
at NOIDA which will bolster its presence in Delhi -NCR region. The UP Govt has
allocated 27.5 acres of land in sector-85 in Noida. This
new center of Infosys will become operational in the next few years. This
initiative of Infosys was felicitated by PM Modi, as part of the 'Rising UP,
Powering New India' event in Lucknow, aimed at boosting infrastructural
capabilities in UP.
As
part of this project, Infosys will invest approx Rs 7.5 billion in the first
phase of construction to build a 2.7 million square feet facility that can
accommodate around five thousand work force, company elaborated its blue print
for NOIDA venture.
