New Delhi (07.07.2025): The Indian Bureau of Mines, under the Ministry of Mines, is set to honour the best-performing mines in the country with a Felicitation Ceremony in Jaipur. The event, scheduled for July 7, 2025, will recognize three 7-star and 95 5-star rated mines for their outstanding achievements in the year 2023-24.
The ceremony will be graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Union Minister of Coal & Mines G Kishan Reddy as the Chief Guest, and Chief Minister of Rajasthan Bhajan Lal Sharma and Union Minister of State for Coal & Mines Satish Chandra Dubey as Guests of Honour. Sanjay Lohiya, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Mines, will also be in attendance.

The Star Rating of Mines, introduced in 2014-15, has been instrumental in fostering a competitive environment among mine operators.
