Chandigarh (08.07.2025): The Haryana government is preparing to forcibly retire Rani Nagar (IAS: 2014: HY), who is absent from the duty for a very long time. She has not responded to the fourth notice sent to her by state Chief Secretary to end her services. The state government, which has sent a proposal for forcible retirement to the Union Ministry of Personnel and Training, would no longer give any other opportunity to Nagar.
Nagar was last appointed as Additional Secretary and Director in the Department of Archives on March 11, 2020, where she served up to October 27, 2020. She has been missing from duty since then. She was in controversies about working style and was given notices before the state government.
