The public sector headhunter on May 30 selected Mahendra Pratap Mall for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC). Currently Mall serves on the Board of IRCTC as Director (Finance).
PESB had interviewed four candidates for the post namely; Mahendra Pratap Mall (Dir- Fin, IRCTC); Siya Ram (GGM, IRCTC); Rakesh Kumar Sinha (Director- HR, NTC); and Dinesh Chandra Sharma (Chief Engineer, Ministry of Railway)
It may be noted that Mall, subject to requisite clearances, will succeed Dr A K Manocha who will be retiring from CMD post on 31 July 2017. He will have longer tenure to serve as CMD; till 31 Jan 2021.
