Srinagar (09.01.2023): Yet another bureaucrat is all set to join politics when former Indian Police officer Basant Kumar Rath (Retd IPS: 2000: AGMUT) took to Twitter by saying that he would join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) before the next Parliamentary elections in 2024.In a Tweet, Rath said that he would stay and work in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. He also said he won’t go back to Odisha. “I’ll join BJP before the next Parliamentary elections. I’ll stay and work in J and K and Ladakh. No question of going back to Odisha,” he said.
