New Delhi (09.01.2023): Indian Coast Guard on behalf of the Ministry of Defence in coordination with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs is organizing a two-day celebration from January 23 to January 24, 2023 showcasing the prowess of India’s military forces and the vividity of India’s tribal culture at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi as Military Tattoo & Tribal Dance (Aadi Shaurya - Parv Parakram Ka).
As India is celebrating ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and the 126th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose which is celebrated as Parakram Divas during the Republic Day 2023 celebrations, various activities fostering the national favors are scheduled. January 23 is being celebrated as ‘Parakram Divas’ which marks the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, befitting his valor, sacrifice & patriotism.
The programme includes a captivating Military Tattoo like Paramotor gliding, Hot Air Balloon, Horse Show, Khukhri Dance, Gatka, Mallakhamb, Kalaripaytu, Thangta, Motorcycle Display, Air Warrior Drill, Navy Band and an hour of mesmerizing traditional dance performances like Gaurr Maria, Gaddi Nati, Siddi Dhamal, Baiga Pardhoni, Purulia, Bagurumba, Ghusadi, Balti, Lambadi, Paika, Rathwa, Budigali, Songmukhawate, Karma, Mangho, Ka Shad Mastieh, Kummikali, Palaiyar, Cheraw, Rekham Pada by Tribal artists from across the nation. A celebrity singer will be performing patriotic songs towards the culmination, in a rousing grand finale with all artists and military personnel.
