which has fallen vacant following the Aditya Prasad Padhi (IAS:1983:OR) as the
new State Election Commissioner. Indianmandarins
has learned that Development Commissioner Asit Kumar Tripathy (IAS:1986:OR) is
leading the race of candidates to the CS post. An official announcement may be
made next week on Monday, the current CS's last working day. Padhi
had served as CS for the last three years and applied for voluntary retirement,
although his retirement is due in February of 2020.
