New Delhi (23.12.2021): Finally, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) got its Member (Finance) after a long gap of over two years The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet on Wednesday endorsed the proposal of the Search-cum-selection-committee and appointed senior RBI cadre officer NRVVMK Rajendra Kumar as new Member (Finance) for a period of three years. The post lying vacant since October 2019. Presently, Rajendra Kumar is working as Chief General Manager, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) who was among the five shortlisted candidates from a list of nine applicants. Rajendra Kumar replaces Asheesh Sharma (IAS:1996:MH) who is now Joint Secretary, DOPT. ALSO READ:

New Delhi (23.12.2021): Finally, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) got its Member (Finance) after a long gap of over two years
The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet on Wednesday endorsed the proposal of the Search-cum-selection-committee and appointed senior RBI cadre officer NRVVMK Rajendra Kumar as new Member (Finance) for a period of three years. The post lying vacant since October 2019.
Presently, Rajendra Kumar is working as Chief General Manager, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) who was among the five shortlisted candidates from a list of nine applicants.
Rajendra Kumar replaces Asheesh Sharma (IAS:1996:MH) who is now Joint Secretary, DOPT.
