Mamta, Kejriwal, Goa & 2024: With stakes high war of words escalates

1030New Delhi (23.12.2021): With stakes high in Goa AAP and TMC chief Arvind Kejriwal and Mamta Banerjee, once close friends, appear to have turned into foes. With each passing day war of words is escalating. Their ambitions for 2024 has become bone of contention in Goa election campaign. Both are keen to expand footprints in Goa, out of their bastion in Delhi & Bengal, which will help them gather the eligibility as an alternative in 2024 Lok Sabha polls. During the poll campaign in Goa Kejriwal targeted TMC and declared it insignificant in the state assembly polls. “I think TMC does not have even one per cent vote share as of now. It came to Goa only three months back, democracy does not work like this.” Kejriwal said. This led to furor and TMC started targeting AAP strongly. TMC said; “Those indulging in election forecasting and vote per cent are simply reflecting their political immaturity and desperation,” TMC tweeted.
