The NaMo administration, on
Friday, gave the additional charge of DG, NDRF and DG Civil Defence, Home
Guards & Fire Services to Ravi Joseph Lokku (IPS:1995:UP) till the
appointment of a regular incumbent. The post of DG, NDRF fell vacant after
the retirement of Sanjay Kumar (IPS:1985:BH) on December 31, 2018 whereas DG,
Civil Defence post is vacant since the completion of Prakash Mishra’s tenure
last year.
