New Delhi (29.08.2025): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs of granting Apex pay scale (Level-17 in the pay matrix) to Alok Ranjan (IPS: 1991: MP), Director, National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).Alok Ranjan was appointed as chiefs of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) on September 22, 2024. He replaced Vivek Gogia (IPS: 1991: UT) and would serve the organisation till his superannuation in June 2026.ALSO READ

New Delhi (29.08.2025): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs of granting Apex pay scale (Level-17 in the pay matrix) to Alok Ranjan (IPS: 1991: MP), Director, National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).
