The NaMo administration, on Monday, announced the appointment of Pranab Nanda (IPS:1988:UT) as new Director General of Police of Goa w.e.f 01 March 2019. Presently, Nanda serves as Additional Director General, Intelligence Bureau and will be completing his central deputation this month end. He was promoted (in-situ) in IB from Jt Director post to ADG in June 2018. He will succeed his batch-mate Muktesh Chander (IPS:1988:UT) on March 01, 2019. Muktesh Chander’s new posting in Delhi is yet to be announced.
