Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi (IAS:1984:PB) will now be located in Punjab Bhawan (Delhi) as Principal Resident Commissioner to the Govt of Punjab. Presently he is serving as Principal Secretary, Public Works Department (Punjab). Prior to this he served with the Government of India till March 17 this year as Jt Secretary, Police II (Home) and thereafter as Additional Secretary, Inter-State Council.
In his new assignment he replaces Ms Kalpana Barua Mittal (IAS:1985:PB) as PRC who is waiting in the wings to be posted at Centre as Additional Secretary.
