As Indianmandarins had reported earlier Rajni Kant Misra (IPS:1984:UP) appointed to the post of DG, Border Security Force (BSF) whereas S S Deswal (IPS:1984:HY) appointed DG, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).  Rajni Kant Misra replaces outgoing BSF DG K K Sharma (IPS:1982:RJ) retiring on September 30.  Deswal will head SSB till his retirement on 31 August 2021 whereas Misra will be heading BSF upto his retirement on 30 September 2019.
