Mishra relinquishing charge today; another DG post up for grab

1215Indianmandarins has
reliably learnt that Prakash Mishra (Retd IPS:1977:OR), the outgoing Director
General of Civil Defence, Fire Services and Home Guards, is all set to
relinquish the charge as his term comes to an end today. Sources said there is
no order from the top as whom to be handed over the charge so far. It may be mentioned that he
was made DG CRPF in December 2014 and served CRPF till February 2016. Further he
became Adviser to Uttarakhand Governor for a short while. Later, on 27 September 2016
he was made Director General of Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guards
for a period of two years on re-employment basis.
