The NaMo administration on Friday effected a major bureaucratic reshuffle and appointed 13 Joint Secretaries in several departments and ministries. Accordingly;
(1) Chandra Bhushan Kumar (IAS:1995:UT) appointed Deputy Election Commissioner (JS level), Election Commission of India vice Sudhir Tripathi (lAS:1985:JH)
(2) S. K. Shahi (CSS) appointed Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs vice R.K. Mitra (CSS). Currently he serves as DDG, Department of Telecommunications.
(3) Krishna Bahadur Singh (IFoS:1995:UT) appointed Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs vice Pradeep Gupta (IOFS:1985).
(4) Anurag Agarwal (IAS:1990:PB) appointed Joint Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs vice Amardeep S. Bhatia (IAS:1993:NL). Cuurently he serves as Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs.
(5) Ritvik Ranjanam Pandey (IAS:1998:KN) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Revenue vice Uday Singh Kumawat (IAS:1993:BH).
(6) Vineet Joshi (IAS:1992:MN) appointed as Director General (JS Level), National Testing Agency under the Department of Higher Education.
(7) Ravi Kota (IAS:1993:AM) appointed Joint Secretary, Fifteenth Finance Commission under the Department of Economic Affairs.
(8) B. Kishore (IAS:1993:AP) appointed Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, vice Shakeel P. Ahammed (IAS:1995:AM). Currently he serves as Joint Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries.
(9) E. Ramesh Kumar (IAS:1999:MP) appointed Joint Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries vice B. Kishore (IAS:1993:AP).
(10) Samir Kumar (IES:1995) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation vice Satya Brata Sahu (lAS:1991:OR)
(11) Nitishwar Kumar (IAS:1996:UP) appointed Joint Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation by utilizing the post of Member (Finance) (JS level), CGWS in the Ministry vice Ariz Ahmmad (IAS:1995:AM).
(12) Girish C. Hosur (IFoS:1996:HP) appointed Joint Secretary, Department of Higher Education vice S.S.Sandhu (IAS:1988:UD).
(13) Mukul Ratra (CSS) has been appointed as DDG (JS level), Department of Telecommunications vice S.K. Shahi (CSS).
